Actress and writer Elizabeth Anne Keiser brings her incomparable energy and freewheeling comedic style to Providence's Aurora for her newest show, HORROR on Tuesday, February 21 at 8:00 p.m. Admission is $10 at the door. Aurora is located at 276 Westminster St., Providence.

HORROR is a one-woman tour-de-force comedy written and performed by Keiser, born out of the chaos that is our post-election, pre-apocalyptic and internet-dependent society. As an artist, it seems that no aspect of her life, creative or otherwise is off limits. Keiser draws on her years as a working actress in New York, recounting auditioning for a touring version of HAIR, and such surreal brush-with-celebrity moments as meeting Icelandic pop goddess Björk, Hollywood actor Harrison Ford and even auto executive Lee Iacocca. In Keiser's newest work she plays both herself and her alt-universe versions of iconic celebrities, both as interviewer and interviewee.

Follow HORROR as it reveals a multitude of characters trapped in our gadget-driven society as they intermingle with one another and even face their worst enemies. Using music, video, and comedy, Keiser says that HORROR "just may just be the catharsis you didn't know you needed."

Elizabeth Anne Keiser Since leaving New York City in the late 90s, Elizabeth Keiser has established herself as a key player in Providence's vibrant theater scene and the state's developing arts education programs. A winner of the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts (RISCA) Playwriting Merit Award, her work has been seen throughout Rhode Island and in various New York comedy venues. Past original work includes Perversion Incognito, The Blue Collar Clown, IgnoRANT, and other plays performed at AS220 Blackbox, Carriage House Dance Theatre, Stitches, Catch a Rising Star, the Westbeth Theater, the Westbank Theater, and more.
