After the success of Traviata and Lucia in a semi-staged format during recent seasons, Taconic Opera brings Carmen back to the stage. The audience will participate and sing along with the well-known tunes of this famous French opera by Bizet. Bring your own chorus part or score or get one at the door. If you don’t sing, that’s fine. Just come to feel what its like to be surrounded by singers. The opera chorus of the Taconic Opera will join you in the audience, so have no fear!

The Music Conservatory of Westchester announces four in-depth musical experiences as its new Musical Masters Lecture Series begins on Sundays at 2 PM during spring 2019. Open to the public, the Conservatory's lecture series will include insight from experts Michael Boriskin, Mark Morganelli, Andrew Armstrong, and Elliott Forrest on the topics of Chamber Music, Brazilian Jazz, Musical Storytelling, and Film Music, respectively.
