The Scranton Shakespeare Festival opens with a night of one-act one-woman/man shows. "Cheeks" is part swan song, part being attacked by a swan. By Philadelphia-based theatre-maker Lee Minora, this one-act slices open the roles for women in the arts using scalpel sharp wit, scorching parody and twisting narrative, and asks “Do you like me?” and then “Do I give a shit?” "Skin of the Teeth" is about a boy. Nicholas wants to feel fear. People can tell that something is missing in him. After a violent accident he accepts the help of charming stranger, Mr Bacon, who takes him under his wing, out of his small seaside town and into an enchanting and perilous world. The Scranton Shakespeare Festival is proud to present award-winning British theatre company FAT CONTENT’s one-act, featuring Daniel Holme. http://www.fatcontenttheatre.com/
