Burning Coal Theatre Company's annual adult acting class, taught by Artistic Director Jerome Davis, is enrolling now. The class runs Monday evenings from 7 to 10 pm. July 12 - August 30, 2010 and will be held at Burning Coal Theatre at the Murphey School, 224 Polk Street, Raleigh, NC. The class is a scene study class using precepts expressed in Uta Hagen's landmark book Respect for Acting. Davis studied with Uta Hagen in New York City for 7 years.

He has acted or trained with Ellen Burstyn, Horton Foote, Richard Jenkins, Adrian Hall, David Edgar, Amanda Peet, Julie Bovasso, Steve Harris, Oliver Platt, Ralph Waite and Ben Gazzarra. Class tuition is $200 for the 8 week class.
