Two pre-show events have been added to the Easton Hospital Gallery schedule for the 2014 season. State Theatre patrons will have the opportunity to be entertained by dancing and music prior to Rhythm of the Dance and the Charlie Daniels Band.

On Sunday, February 16th, before the National Dance Company of Ireland presents Rhythm of the Dance on the main stage, students from the O'Grady Quinlan Academy of Irish Dance will perform in the Easton Hospital Gallery. O'Grady Quinlan is proud to be the only certified school in the Lehigh Valley that is registered with An Comisiun le Rinci Gaelacha. An Comisiun is the largest and most recognized Irish Dance Organization in the world and is home to dancers such as American born Michael Flatley, Jean Butler and many Riverdance and Lord of the Dance Troupe Members. The O'Grady Quinlan dancers will perform in the Gallery from 2:30 until Rhythm of the Dance begins at 4.

Prior to the Charlie Daniels Band performance on Friday, March 28th, enTrust Merchant Services, the Nazareth-Bath Area Chamber of Commerce and 1847 Financial will hold a pre-show reception & mixer in the Easton Hospital Gallery. Guests will have the opportunity to sample foods from local businesses and mix and mingle with fellow chamber members. There is no admission charge for the reception and a cash bar will be available. During the event, which runs from 6-8pm, there will be music from Chuck Shaeffer and raffle giveaways. Chuck Schaeffer is from nearby Bucks County, PA and his second album, released in 2012, reached #2 on the PA Roots Radio Charts for 8 weeks and spent 10 weeks in the National Roots Country Charts Top 50.
