Bristol Riverside Theatre kicks off the 2013-2014 season with Steve Solomon's hysterical prequel My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish & I'm STILL in Therapy!, running September 17-October 6. This one-man show stars Steve Solomon who brings hilarious characters to life by using his talent for creating voices, dialects and goofy sound effects.

There will be 22 performances of My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish & I'm STILL in Therapy!, from September 17-October 6, 2013. Steve Solomon previously performed at BRT in his productions of My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish and I'm Home for the Holidays!,and My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish & I'm in Therapy! A native of Brooklyn, Solomon was a Physics teacher and a school administrator on Long Island, New York before leaving his academic career behind and turned his attention to his love of making people laugh. Solomon's show, the two-time award winning, My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish and I'm In Therapy!, has met with rave reviews to sold out crowds throughout the country andoverseas. It has become one of the longest running one-man comedy shows in history. Solomon has written two additional installments to his original hit:My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish and I'm STILL in Therapy and his hilarious holiday show; My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish and I'm Home for the Holidays! All three shows are currently touring the United States and have received critical acclaim including The Connecticut Critics Circle and The San Francisco Drama Desk nomination.

My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish & I'm STILL in Therapy!, goes back in time with Steve from his baby years with his twin sister, right up to the present introducing audiences to Uncle Willie, stuttering Cousin Bob, demented Cousin Kenny, Steve's new therapist, Cousin Sal and Sal's parole officer, and other astounding characters we know, love and tolerate from our own families. Bringing each one to life on stage, STILL In Therapy is the next hilarious installment in his quest to defend himself against those people whose sole purpose in life is to add chaos to his.

Since 1986, BRT has brought consistently acclaimed professional theatre to Bucks County and maintained a long-term commitment to finding and developing new plays. The theatre is the recipient of over 68 Barrymore Award nominations for Excellence in Theatre, given annually by the Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia. In addition to its mainstage productions, the theatre serves as a cultural hub for the community, with such programs as children's theatre, community concerts and exhibitions of local visual arts.
