The fascinating history behind Shakespeare's greatest plays continues with a third series of Shakespeare Uncovered, premiering Fridays, October 12-26 on PBS (check local listings) and streaming the following day at pbs.org/shakespeareuncovered and on PBS apps. The ambitious series concludes with celebrated new hosts Helen Hunt, F. Murray Abraham, Romola Garai, Brian Cox, Simon Russell Beale and Sir Antony Sher, who seamlessly weave their personal passions with history, biography, iconic performances and new analysis to tell the stories behind the stories of Shakespeare's famous works. The final season investigates “Much Ado About Nothing,” “The Merchant of Venice,” “Measure for Measure,” “Julius Caesar,” “The Winter's Tale” and “Richard III.”

The cast is set for the Young Vic Production of Arthur Miller's "A View From the Bridge" produced by Center Theatre Group at the Ahmanson Theatre. Directed by Ivo van Hove, "A View From the Bridge" will begin previews on September 7, with the opening set for September 14, 2016. Performances continue through October 16. The cast includes, in alphabetical order, Danny Binstock, Catherine Combs, Alex Esola, Andrus Nichols, Howard W. Overshown, Dave Register, Thomas Jay Ryan and Frederick Weller. The scenic and lighting design is by Jan Versweyveld, costumes are by An D'Huys and sound is by Tom Gibbons. The production stage manager is David S. Multi award-winning artists 59 Productions, the team behind the video design of the Opening Ceremony of the 2012 London Olympic Games, have joined forces with the BBC Proms and internationally acclaimed cellist, Sol Gabetta, to create a brand new film, 'Cello', to celebrate the 2016 BBC Proms season. The film, and a 'making of' video, will be featured on the BBC Proms website and BBC iPlayer as well as shared widely on social media platforms.

The production, which swept the 2015 Olivier Awards -- winning for Best Revival, Best Director, and Best Actor (Mark Strong), will play an 18-week limited engagement through Sunday, February 21, 2016. Full casting has today been announced for the West End run of the Royal Court Theatre's production of Hangmen. ProducersRobert Fox, Matthew Byam Shaw for Playful Productions and Royal Court Theatre Productions are delighted to announce that Andy Nyman will play Syd, Craig Parkinson will take on the role of Inspector Fry and Tony Hirst will play Bill, completing the cast of the West End production. Directed by Matthew Dunster, Martin McDonagh's Hangmen will transfer to the Wyndham's Theatre for a strictly limited season, previewing from 1 December.  Check out the new trailer below!
