by Tyler Peterson - Nov 5, 2013 A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN, the new Broadway musical that opened to rave reviews for star Mary Bridget Davies, was featured on this morning's edition of VH1's "Big Morning Buzz Live." Davies performed an in-studio acoustic version of Janis's hit song "Me and Bobby McGee," accompanied by musical director Ross Seligman. Check out their rendition below!

Leading the production is Mary Bridget Davies. Davies is joined by Sabrina Elayne Carten as the Blues Singer. Created, written and directed by Randy Johnson, the production is produced in partnership with The Pasadena Playhouse and Milwaukee Repertory Theater, in association with Todd Gershwin and Daniel Chilewich of One Night Productions, The Estate ofJanis Joplin and Jeff Jampol of JAM, Inc. One Night with Janis Joplin runs June 21-August 11, 2013 in the Kreeger Theater. |
