In VEEP, Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Emmy(R) winner for 'Seinfeld' and 'The New Adventures of Old Christine') stars as Selina Meyer. The show tells the story of a woman who becomes vice president, only to discover the job is nothing like she expected, but everything she was warned about.

HBO's new comedy VEEP starring Seinfeld alum Julia Louis-Dreyfus will be premiering on the cable network on April 22nd. VEEP tells the stoy of former Senator Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) who has accepted the call to serve as Vice President of the United States.

HBO's new comedy series VEEP, starring Seinfeld's Julia Louis Dreyfus will be premiering on the network in April 2012. In the series, Drefus plays Vice President of the United States Selina Meyer, a former senator who becomes VP after losing a primary to the man who eventually becomes president.

The 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony was simulcast live on TNT and TBS from the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center on Saturday, Jan. 23, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT), 7 p.m. (CT) and 6 p.m. (MT). An encore presentation will air on TNT at 11 p.m. (ET/PT).
