The Arvada Center is making a bold move with its current main-stage production. The regional premiere of END OF THE RAINBOW follows Judy Garland during a six week run in London six months before her tragic death. While it includes many of Judy's actual arrangements of some of her most loved songs, it isn't a musical. It is a play with music. A re-conceived version of the Rodgers & Hart 1940 classic Pal Joey is now running at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre. After an enthusiastically received concert reading at Pasadena's prestigious Boston Court Theatre last year, Director Peter Schneider was encouraged by the esteemed Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization to move forward with a fully realized production.
