The acclaimed series 'Monday Nights, New Voices' will return to the Duplex Cabaret Theatre on May 20th, 2013 produced by composer Scott Alan.

The Old Globe will open its 2013-14 Season with The Last Goodbye, a new musical that marries Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and the incendiary songs of the legendary singer-songwriter Jeff Buckley. Conceived and adapted by Michael Kimmel, the rock musical is directed by two-time Tony Award nominee Alex Timbers (Peter and the Starcatcher, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson). Choreography is by Sonya Tayeh ("So You Think You Can Dance"), and orchestrations, music direction and arrangements are by Kris Kukul. The complete creative team and casting, as well as the remainder of the Globe's new season, will be announced at a later date. The Last Goodbye will run on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center, Sept. 20 - Nov. 3, 2013. Preview performances run Sept. 20 - Oct. 5. Opening night is Sunday, Oct. 6. Tickets are currently available by subscription only. Broadway Gives Back presents a concert entitled 'Broadway Charity Songs!' 'Broadway Charity Songs' has paired a group of award-winning musical theatre composers with a group of outstanding charities and tasked them with composing an original piece that each prospective charity could use for fundraising purposes. The result is a group of songs gifted to the charities - with the hope that the songs 'go viral' while increasing awareness for these outstanding organizations. The concert will take place tonight, March 25th, 2013, 7:30pm at Le Poisson Rouge.

It will feature a mixture of Folk/rock/theater selections from A Lasting Impression (NJ Playwrights Award and Pace New Musicals 2012), Orphan Songs and will DEBUT material from Painless-a new project with book by Michael Kimmel (The Last Goodbye, Turn of the Screw) and music and lyrics by Zoe Sarnak.

New Jersey Playwright's Contest has selected Zoe Sarnak's A Lasting Impression as one of three 2013 finalists. The reading will feature Aaron Albert (Disney's "I'm in the Band"). The winner of this year's competition will receive a full production at the Hunziker Theatre in Summer of 2014.

TNT Music previously announced the third edition of 'Are You Working On Something New?'-New Songs by New Writers to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
