TV: Zachary Quinto & Company Celebrate Opening Night of MCC's SMOKEFALL

MCC THEATER presents Noah Haidle's Smokefall, playing through Sunday, March 20th. Smokefall by Noah Haidle, directed by Anne Kauffman, stars Emmy nominated star of stage and screen Zachary Quinto, indie film icon and television star Robin Tunney, and NYC theater veterans Tom Bloom, Brian Hutchison, and Taylor Richardson. The show just opened Monday night, February 22, at the Lucille Lortel Theater, and you can go inside the celebration below!

Sally Field Heading Back to Broadway in THE GLASS MENAGERIE?

It hasn't been long since the last revival of Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie, but that won't stop Sally Field from bringing it back. According to Showbiz411, Field will soon return to Broadway as Amanda Wingfield, a role she played in 2004 at the Kennedy Center. Tony Winner Sam Gold will reportedly direct the production.

George Street Playhouse Sets Cast of NUREYEV'S EYES

George Street Playhouse today announced the cast of David Rush's Nureyev's Eyes, which runs February 2 through February 21 at the New Brunswick theatre.  Bill Dawes will portray Russian defector and star of ballet and screen, Rudolf Nureyev; William Connell will play painter Jamie Wyeth, the son of famed artist Andrew Wyeth and grandson of illustrator N.C. Wyeth. The production will be helmed by George Street Playhouse Resident Artistic Director Michael Mastro.
