Legendary singer-songwriter and social justice activist David Crosby is a two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, inducted as a member of both the iconic folk-rock band The Byrds - with whom he first rose to stardom - and the iconic Woodstock era-defining group Crosby, Stills & Nash.

Pianist, composer, and bandleader, Randy Weston comes to The Nash to join Lewis Nash for an unforgettable afternoon of jazz on Sunday February 19 at 2:00 pm. The Nash is located at 110 Roosevelt St, on the corner of 1st and Roosevelt in downtown Phoenix.  

With appearances on the Grammy Awards, "60 Minutes," and performances at several famed jazz festivals all around the world, Joey Alexander will make his Houston debut on Friday, February 17th in the Cullen Theater at the Wortham Theater Center, presented by Society for the Performing Arts.

On Saturday, January 14, 2017, the National YoungArts Foundation (YoungArts) hosted its annual fundraiser in Miami, theBackyard Ball performance and gala, to help support the artistic development of the nation's most promising young artists. In addition to recognizing the talent of this year's 691 YoungArts Winners, the event honored jazz pianist Jason Moran (1993 Winner in Jazz) with the Arison Alumni Award, and choreographer Jessica Lang as the Arison Award Honoree for their vital contributions and commitment to the arts.
