Broadway St. Previews are $15 with performances Thursday, Aug. 20, Friday, Aug. 14 and 21, Saturday, Aug. 15 and 22 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 16 and 23 at 4 p.m. There is a Board Preview Event Saturday, Aug. 22 at 8 p.m. with $50 tickets that include access to the post-performance reception. The opening night performance is Monday, Aug. 24 at 8 p.m.The performance schedule is Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m. An industry performance is Monday, Aug. 31 at 8 p.m. Single Tickets are $28 and on sale now. Off-Broadway's hit play CHURCHILL is set to reopen where it began its phenomenal journey, with performances beginning July 17th at Chicago's Greenhouse Theater Center. The show will conclude its current smash engagement today (Sunday) at 3 PM at New World Stages, where it opened on February 18th. Under the direction of Kurt Johns, CHURCHILL is based on the life and writings of one of the greatest wartime leaders of the 20th Century.

Al Hirschfeld gets a tome of his own!

Peter Morgan's The Audience, starring Helen Mirren and directed by Stephen Daldry, began previews on February 14 and opened on March 8 at Broadway's Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street). Off-Broadway's hit play CHURCHILL will play a special 4th of July schedule next week at New World Stages. There will be no evening performance on Saturday the 4th and a special holiday matinee has been added on Friday, July 3rd at 2:30 PM.

Stephen Daldry's hit production of Peter Morgan's The Audience will complete its run at the Apollo Theatre on 25 July 2015 as previously announced.  The production, starringKristin Scott Thomas as The Queen, opened in May to critical acclaim. The Audience - a play about the weekly meeting between the Queen and her Prime Ministers - has designs by Bob Crowley, with lighting by Rick Fisher, sound by Paul Arditti and music by Paul Englishby.

The Daily Mail reports that Victoria Hamilton is the latest actress to join the Netflix series THE CROWN, based on Peter Morgan's THE AUDIENCE. She will play Queen Elizabeth -- the Queen Mother -- in the TV adaptation, helmed by Stephen Daldry. Queen Elizabeth died in 2002 at the age of 101.
