Rosalind Productions Inc. will present the Off-Broadway premiere of Jennifer Maisel's The Last Seder. This Off-Broadway limited engagement at Theater Three (311 West 43rd Street) begins tonight, December 1st and continues through December 20th only. Opening Night is set for Tuesday December 4th (7pm). The show runs 90 minutes without an intermission.

Michael Weston joins Center Theatre Group's production of the Tony-nominated "Other Desert Cities" by Jon Robin Baitz. Weston joins the previously announced Jeannie Berlin, Robert Foxworth, Robin Weigert and JoBeth Williams. Robert Egan directs the West Coast premiere, which starts previews tonight November 28, 2012, opens December 9 and runs through January 6, 2013.

The Sundance Institute Theatre Program announced the acting company and collaborators for the three projects being developed at its Fall Lab, which begins today at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA). Under the supervision of Philip Himberg, Artistic Director of the Theatre Program, and Producing Director Christopher Hibma, the two-week Lab provides creative support and direction for innovative musical theatre and ensemble-generated projects.

Page 73 Productions will present a reading of the new play PLAYGROUNDS by Sarah Sander directed by Josh Hecht. The reading will be Monday, November 26 at 7:30pm at 311 West 43rd Street, 6th floor (Dodger Atelier). The Plowmen will present the World Premiere of Soldier, written and performed by Jonathan Draxton, and directed by Kevin O'Rourke (Mayor Edward Bader on HBO's "Boardwalk Empire"). Soldier runs from December 11 - 22, 2012 in a limited engagement at HERE, located at 145 6th Avenue (Enter on Dominick, 1 block south of Spring) in New York City. Previews begin December 11 for a December 13 opening.

The evening will feature performances by recent Williamstown Theatre Festival alumni David Hyde Pierce (director of last season's The Importance of Being Earnest), Steven Pasquale and Kelli O'Hara (WTF's Far From Heaven), Greg Naughton, Malcolm Gets (WTF's Ten Cents a Dance) and more.

According to an Equity casting notice, THE LAST GOODBYE, a musical featuring the tunes of the late Jeff Buckley, will soon get a New York City reading. The show, which premiered at Williamstown Theatre Festival, will hold a developmental lab January 27- February. Alex Timbers will direct and Sonya Tayeh will choreograph.

Off-Broadway's Page 73 Productions - a company dedicated to producing and developing works by early-career playwrights - will present readings of their 2012 P73 Playwriting Fellow Max Posner's play THE FAMISHED today, November 16 at 2pm and 7pm at Manhattan Theatre Club's Creative Center (311 West 43rd Street, 8th Fl). OBIE Award winner Ken Rus Schmoll (TELEPHONE, A MAP OF VIRTUE) will direct.

Next month, Broadway's Matt Dickson (who just finished a run in Lincoln Center's War Horse and also appeared in all three parts of The Coast of Utopia) will direct the premiere of THE MAN-MADE ROCK, a dramatic comedy which will run from December 7-16 at the 4th Street Theatre.

The Huntington's production of Harold Pinter's BETRAYAL opens tonight, November 14 at 7pm, Avenue of the Arts / BU Theatre. The production is directed by Maria Aitken. The cast includes Alan Cox, Mark H. Dold, Gretchen Egolf, and Luis Negrón. Check out production photos inside!

Television and stage star Jane Kaczmarek and Culture Clash co-founder/actor/writer Herbert Siguenza will host the 2012 LA Stage Alliance Ovation Awards Ceremony tonight, November 12, at the historic Los Angeles Theatre in downtown LA. The curtain will rise at 7:30pm.

Colt Coeur's Play Hotel reading series will present a staged reading of Jesse Weaver's We Shall Catch Larks tonight, November 12th at 7pm at the CoCo Studio in NYC. Directed by Stella Powell-Jones, the cast features Geraldine Hughes (Cyrano, Translations, Gran Torino, Rocky Balboa), Matt Stadelmann (American Sligo, Seven Minutes in Heaven), and Joe Tippett (Fish Eye).

On Sunday, December 2, Rubicon Theatre Company will present a benefit performance of Love, Loss, and What I Wore with a star-studded cast of women including Emmy and Tony-winner Tyne Daly, Amy Peitz and Amanda McBroom.

New York Theatre Barn will present a free private reading of the new musical Costs of Living tonight, November 7 and 8 in the Theatre District.
