New York Theatre Ballet announces the 2014-15 season, which will include a national tour and repertory performances at the 92nd Street Y (January 10-12, 2015), New York Live Arts (February 18-21, 2015) and Danspace (June 17-20, 2015). NYTB continues to maintain its association with the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall, and the Company's Once Upon A Ballet series for children will continue at Florence Gould Hall throughout the year. NYTB will also continue to offer its Free Ticket Program for families who are unable to afford to attend performances.

Local residents and professional actors will join forces in the artful adaptation of William Shakespeare's As You Like, as part of the third annual Shakespeare in the Streets presented by Shakespeare Festival St. Louis, scheduled Thursday through Saturday, Sept. 18-20, on Central Avenue between Forsyth Boulevard and Maryland Avenue in downtown Clayton.

Theatre at the Center, 1040 Ridge Road, Munster, celebrates its 25th anniversary season in 2015 by bringing to the stage hilarious spoofs, rock n' roll musicals and heartwarming stories, each with a close relationship to iconic films. The season opens with ON GOLDEN POND, the touching, funny, and warmly insightful story that went from a Tony Award on Broadway to the Oscar winning film, running February 26 through March 29. Overflowing with heart and humor, the extraordinary new Broadway musical, BIG FISH, will inspire audiences to live life to the fullest May 7 to June 7. Fans of "the King" of Rock n' Roll will be thrilled to join in song and dance at ALL SHOOK UP! THE MUSIC OF ELVIS PRESLEY. Inspired by the movies and songs of Elvis Presley as well as the William Shakespeare comedy Twelfth Night, the musical runs July 16 through August 16. SPAMALOT, the uproariously hilarious Monty Python-inspired farce about King Arthur and his band of raunchy knights runs September 17 through October 18. Kansas City Actors Theatre has announced the opening of the centerpiece of its 10th season: a rotating repertory of Shakespeare's Hamlet and Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. The plays will be performed on alternating nights at Union Station's H&R Block City Stage and begin previews tonight, August 26th. The opening nights will be September 4th for Hamlet and September 5th for Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead.

Bootless Stageworks will present the first officially licensed production of Terminator, The Second, a staged adaption of the hit Hollywood blockbuster Terminator 2: Judgment Day. What makes Terminator, The Second such a unique theater production is that it is completed entirely in Shakespearean language. Every line and phrase is taken from the original folios of William Shakespeare, with changes only to proper nouns, pronouns, and verb-tenses that serve to create a hilarious parody about a boy and his cyborg protector with the utmost accuracy.
