Cincinnati Shakespeare to Kick Off 2015 with WAITING FOR GODOT, 1/14-2/7

?Cincinnati Shakespeare Company kicks off 2015 with this vaudevillian production of the classic "Waiting for Godot" by Samuel Beckett. This production is directed by Cincinnati Shakespeare's Producing Artistic Director, Brian Isaac Phillips and features Cincinnati Shakespeare's Resident Ensemble members Bruce Cromer, Jim Hopkins, Nicholas Rose and Brent Vimtrup, joined by young actor Jack Johnson.

Combined Artform/Theatre Asylum are thrilled to announce the comeback of PULP SHAKESPEARE (or Bard Fiction), adapted by Ben Tallen, Aaron Greer and Brian Watson-Jones, and directed by Ovation Award winning director Amanda McRaven. PULP SHAKESPEARE will be opening Thursday January 15, 2015 at Theatre Asylum in Hollywood, running Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm through March 8.

A New York City developmental lab was held this fall, under the direction of Casey Nicholaw. Leading the cast (of the Lab, and not necessarily future productions) were Christian Borle, John Cariani, Allen Fitzpatrick, Brian d'Arcy James, Beth Leavel, Brad Oscar, Kate Reinders, Jeff Steizter, and Gerry Vichi.

Tickets are now on sale for Gotham Chamber Opera's final production of the 2014/2015 season, The Tempest Songbook, comprised of incidental music for The Tempest composed in 1695 and attributed to Henry Purcell and Kaija Saariaho's 2004 Tempest Songbook for soprano, baritone and period instrument ensemble, in its U.S. and World Stage Premieres.A co-production with The Martha Graham Dance Company, The Tempest Songbook will be performed in The Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, with three performances from March 27 - 29, 2015. Performances: Friday and Saturday at 7pm, Sunday at 3pm. Tickets range from $30 to $175 and are available at metmuseum.org/tickets.

The Off-Broadway musical features a book by Eric Rosen, music by Matt Sax, lyrics by Sax and Rosen, and additional music by Curtis Moore.
