Masterworks Theater Company has announced the cast of A Midsummer Night's Dream which includes Nick Cearley (The Skivvies) as Puck, Becca Ballenger (Steel Magnolias) as Helena, Em Grosland (The Erlkings) as Flute,  Sheria Irving (Broadway's Romeo And Juliet) as Hermia, Jenny Strassburg (Echoes of War) as Titania. Directed by Tamilla Woodard, A Midsummer Night's Dream begins performances on June 5th and will open on June 11th at the 47th Street Theatre (304 West 47th Street). Tickets are $45 - $65. The music of composer Joel Feigin will be performed by the Elaris Duo, violinist Larisa Elisha and cellist Steven Elisha, on Saturday, May 2 at 7:30 PM in Mary Flagler Cary Hall of The DiMenna Center for Classical Music, 450 West 37th Street in New York, New York. This concert is presented as a fundraiser for Sandy Hook Promise, which was created in response to the Newtown, Connecticut school shootings.

Chicago's Walkabout Theater Company, joins forces with international theater and music exchange organization Moon Fool, to present the Chicago premiere of STORM, a fierce re-imagining of William Shakespeare's The Tempest created and directed by Anna-Helena McLean, with new writing by Rosanna Lowe and featuring actors from three continents.
