Academy Award-winning actress Susan Sarandon will join the cast of the third season of Showtime's drama series THE BIG C. The actress will make her first appearance on April 22nd.

As first reported in The Hollywood Reporter, academy-award winning actress Susan Sarandon will join the cast of the Showtime's drama series THE BIG C in a multi-arc role.

JESSE STONE: BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT, the eighth in the series of television movies starring Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award winner Tom Selleck as Police Chief Jesse Stone, will be broadcast Sunday, May 20 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Today in 1968, Exit the King opened at the Lyceum Theatre where it ran for 47 performances. The revival opened on Broadway in a limited engagement at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre, with previews starting March 7, 2009, opening March 26, and closing June 14. Directed by Armfield, the cast stars Geoffrey Rush (who won a Tony Award for his performance), Susan Sarandon, William Sadler, Andrea Martin, Lauren Ambrose and Brian Hutchison. It had previously been produced on Broadway by the APA-Phoenix Repertory Company, directed by Ellis Rabb and starred Richard Easton as the King, Patricia Conolly as Queen Marie, Eva Le Gallienne as Queen Marguerite, and Pamela Payton-Wright as Juliette.

JESSE STONE: INNOCENTS LOST, the seventh in the series of television movies starring Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Tom Selleck as Police Chief Jesse Stone, will be broadcast Sunday, May 22 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT). The series includes 'Stone Cold,' 'Jesse Stone: Night Passage,' 'Jesse Stone: Death in Paradise,' 'Jesse Stone: Sea Change,' 'Jesse Stone: Thin Ice' and 'Jesse Stone: No Remorse.' The movies are based on characters created by the late Robert B. Parker in the best-selling series of books.

According to TVGuide, Anna Chlumsky and William Sadler are set to guest star on USA's White Collar. Both will star in the third season's second episode. Chumsky will star as an FBI agent, while Sadler will play a security consultant.
