Young Actors' Theatre Camp Program Directors Shawn Ryan and John Ainsworth announced today that several stars of stage and screen will lead master classes this summer at the Young Actors' Theatre Camp taking place June 24 - August 11, 2014 at Camp Sempervirens (20161 Big Basin Highway in Boulder Creek) in the Santa Cruz Mountains. 59E59 Theaters has announced two additional shows to the Fall 2013 line up, coming in December.

59E59 Theaters will present LE JAZZ HOT: HOW THE FRENCH SAVED JAZZ, created by Peter and Will Anderson and featuring their jazz quintet. LE JAZZ HOT: HOW THE FRENCH SAVED JAZZ begins performances on Tuesday, December 3 for a limited engagement through Sunday, December 29. Press opening is Wednesday, December 11 at 7:30 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:30 PM; Friday at 8:30 PM; & Saturday at 5:30 PM & 8:30 PM; and Sunday at 3:30 PM & 7:30 PM. Please note, there is no performance on December 25 and an additional performance on Friday, December 27 at 5:30 PM. Celebrating traditional jazz with rising stars and established bands - the festival will showcase the best talent of the Hot Jazz Renaissance sweeping the country.

The Louis Armstrong House Museum proudly welcomes back the York College Summer Jazz Program and their big band sound to Louis's garden today, August 4th at 2pm. This annual concert showcases outstanding high school musicians from all five boroughs. It's a free concert celebrating Louis Armstrong's birthday. And, there will be cake!

Louis Armstrong House Museum welcomes Peter & Will Anderson Sextet, one of NYC's hottest jazz bands, to Louis's house on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 2pm. This is the final concert in the museum's Hot Jazz / Cool Garden Summer Concert Series and it's a must-have ticket this summer. To top off the irresistible sounds of this sextet, the concert includes a complimentary sample of red beans n' rice (Louis's favorite recipe) & sweet tea all served up in Louis's garden. The exclusive evening will feature after-hours access to Bonhams, a cocktail reception and the opportunity to browse and bid on CCBF's beautiful collection of paintings, photographs and sculptures. Proceeds support the clinical care of children with cancer and blood disorders, cutting edge research to understand the causes of these disorders and a fellowship training program in pediatric hematology and oncology.
