Following the success of THE LION KING's first dedicated Autism-Friendly Performance last year, Disney's THE LION KING is set to present a second Autism-Friendly Performance on Sunday 4 May 2014 at 1:30pm. Tickets are now on sale.

The album has now spent the most weeks at No. 1 for a soundtrack since 'Titanic' which remained as No. 1 for 16 straight weeks in 1998.

The sing-a-long will include musician and Tony Award winner Idina Menzel and surprise cameos from celebrities, You Tube versions from kids around the world, and 'Frozen' character's Princess Elsa and Princess Anna from Disney World.

On Saturday, June 14, Oscar-winning composer John Williams and legendary director Steven Spielberg will join the Detroit Symphony Orchestra (DSO) for a one-night-only gala benefit concert for the orchestra. Tickets to this special concert appearance will be available starting April 14. Both artists are donating their services for this extraordinary event.

The Los Angeles Master Chorale (LAMC) continues its epic 50th Anniversary Season with a heartfelt two-part tribute to National Medal of Arts recipient Morten Lauridsen, the choir's Composer In Residence from 1995 to 2001, the composer most closely associated with the renowned chorus and the most frequently performed American choral composer in modern history. The tribute begins with an exclusive screening of the award-winning documentary film "Shining Night: A Portrait of Composer Morten Lauridsen" and post-screening conversation with Lauridsen, film director Michael Stillwater and LAMC Music Director Grant Gershon on Friday, March 14, 2014, 8 pm, at the historic Alex Theatre in Glendale. The tribute concludes with the Chorale's highly anticipated all-Lauridsen concert featuring some of his most well known works conducted by Gershon with one work accompanied by composer himself on piano on Sunday, March 16, 2014, 7 pm, at Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra Music Director Manfred Honeck returns to Boston to lead the Boston Symphony Orchestra tonight, February 20-22, 2014 in a program featuring peerless German violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter. Honeck's conducting debut with the Boston Symphony was in November 2005.

In celebration of the 60th anniversary of the world-renowned Newport Jazz Festival (August 1-3, 2014), the 'Newport Jazz Festival: Now 60' Tour makes a stop in New York City at the Jazz Standard, 116 East 27th Street, March 4-8. Featuring clarinetist/saxophonist Anat Cohen, vocalist/pianist Karrin Allyson, bassist Ben Allison, pianist Peter Martin, guitarist Mark Whitfield, trumpeter Randy Brecker and drummer Clarence Penn, the band has been receiving rave reviews since it kicked off a 17-city tour on February 8 in Atlanta. The first leg of the tour winds down March 30 and will continue with more dates during June, July and August in North America and Europe (including a set at its namesake festival on August 2).
