The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's Executive Producer & CEO, Bill Kiska, announced that the international blockbuster Les Miserables will play the theatre during the summer of 2014. As Frederick's only year-round producing theater, Way Off Broadway is preparing to reach a milestone when its 2014 Season opens in January. Way Off Broadway will be celebrating twenty years of entertainment at its theater located in the Willowtree Plaza on the west side of the City of Frederick.

After opening to the season's best reviews and playing to wildly enthusiastic capacity crowds, Cameron Mackintosh's new production of Boublil & Schonberg's masterpiece LES MISERABLES is extending its limited Toronto engagement by six more weeks. LES MISERABLES will now play until February 2, 2014 at the Princess of Wales Theatre. This will be the production's final extension.

Les Miserables, the world's longest-running musical is coming to Placerville's Imagination Theater this November and December.The show opens November 29 and runs through December 29. Tickets are $12-$15.

Dallas Theater Center announced today a new program for the 2013-14 season, DTC Book Club hosted by DTC Artistic Director Kevin Moriarty. Cameron Mackintosh announced today the first four cast members of his acclaimed new production of Alain Boublil & Claude-Michel Schonberg's Tony Award-winning musical masterpiece Les Miserables, which returns to Broadway beginning Saturday, March 1 at the Imperial Theatre.

Village Theatre's Artistic Director Steve Tomkins 'dreamed a dream' many years ago when he first saw actor Greg Stone perform in Les Miserables. After directing Stone in Jesus Christ Superstar in 1993 Tomkins wondered, "Could I put together my 'dream cast,' that included Stone, and present this monstrous legendary mega-hit musical Les Miserables at Village Theatre?" Scheduling conflicts, rights issues and budget constraints stood in his way, but much like the character Jean Valjean, Tomkins persisted. Over a decade later the stage production rights became available for a short window of time (that window closes when the Broadway revival of Les Miserables opens in March of 2014) and Tomkins got to work putting the many pieces together for a Village Theatre production.

For the first time in the college's history, CPCC Theatre, CPCC Dance Theatre and CPCC Opera Theatre will join forces this fall to present the Broadway musical smash hit "Les Miserables" on the Halton Theater stage in celebration of the college's 50th anniversary.
