Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET) Co-Founder and Producing Artistic Director Anita Allen-Farley has announced Season 26 of the professional theatre company in North Fulton County.

On March 30th, 2018, Eagle Theatre opens Ron Hutchinson'sMoonlight & Magnolias, an uproariously irreverent behind-the-scenes glimpse of Gone With The Wind.

Eagle Theatre opens the highly anticipated and uproarious irreverent behind-the-scenes glimpse of Gone With The Wind, Moonlight & Magnolias, on March 28th, 2018. Based on a true story, Moonlight & Magnolias offers hilarious insight to the making of America's most successful and beloved film of all time.

Based on Victor Fleming's 1939 film musical of the same name as well as L. Frank Baum's 1900 novel, The Wizard of Oz (of course) follows Dorothy Gale, a young girl who lives on a farm in Kansas with her dog, Toto, until a cyclone arrives, picks up her house, and blows them away to the land of Oz. Things in Oz are strange and beautiful, but Dorothy just wants to go home. She's helped by the Good Witch of the North, but she's also in trouble with the Wicked Witch of the West, who seeks revenge for the death of her sister; the Wicked Witch of the East, for which she blames Dorothy.

Take a fun, farcical look at the creation of one of the most beloved films of all time.

Rubicon Theatre Company (RTC) opens the company's 2017-2018 20th Anniversary Season with a provocative and gripping drama based on the story of German conductor and composer Wilhelm Furtw ngler, who remained in Germany after Hitler's rise to power and was later accused of being a Nazi sympathizer.

Daring, desperate and damn funny - a behind-the-scenes look at the filming of Gone With The Wind, and some of the problems encountered, form the basis of Limelight Theatre's first production of 2017.

Directed by Jeff Allen, this show is a very funny look at the real-life events surrounding the writing of the screenplay to the film classic Gone With the Wind. It opens Sept. 1 and runs through Sept. 11. It will be presented on the Mainstage.

Just in time for the 80th anniversary of Margaret Mitchell's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, 'Gone With the Wind,' Rubicon brings this wildly funny, behind-the-scenes farce to Ventura on Saturday, September 3 at 7:00 p.m. with an after party to follow atThe Greek Mediterranean Steak & Seafood. Previews are August 31, Sept. 1 and 2. The show runs through September 18.

The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Friday, May 20, at 6:30pm, at the Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street).  Ms. Tsu was selected to receive the 2016 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for costume design and Mr. Yeargan will receive the Robert L.B. Tobin Award for Sustained Excellence in Theatrical Design. The awards are presented through Theatre Development Fund's Costume Collection.
