Last night marked five years to the day since Her Majesty The Queen opened the Curve Theatre in Leicester. To celebrate this, the wonderful team at the theatre put on a showbiz evening to remember.

The cast of Chicago has arrived at Leicester's Curve theatre today for the rehearsals of the hotly anticipated Christmas production and centre piece of the theatre's 5th Birthday Season. Check out promo shots below!

Producer Carl Leighton-Pope announces that Aaron Sidwell and Matthew Wycliffe will join the cast of Carnaby Street The Musical. Rehearsals begin today at The Hackney Empire, with Bob Tomson directing. The show will run from 6 April - 14 April at The Hackney Empire before embarking on a full UK tour.

Departure Lounge creator Dougal Irvine will be performing a one-off fundraising gig this Sunday at the Waterloo East Theatre to promote the work of Perfect Pitch, the organisation dedicated to creating brand-new musical theatre. Irvine will perform a selection of songs along with special guests Stuart Matthew Price, Annalene Beechey and Verity Rushworth.
