New Line Cinema has just released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming horror film THE CONJURING, set to hit theaters on July 19. The film is based upon the case files of married demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren. "The Conjuring" stars Academy Award nominee Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson as the Warrens, and Ron Livingston and Lili Taylor as Roger and Carolyn Perron, residents of the house. A&E to Premiere PSYCHO Prequel Series BATES MOTEL on 3/18

A&E Network will premiere the new original scripted drama series 'Bates Motel' from executive producers Carlton Cuse ('Lost') and Kerry Ehrin ('Friday Night Lights') on Monday, March 18 at 10 PM ET/PT, it was announced today by Bob DeBitetto, President and GM of A&E Network and Bio Channel. 'Bates Motel' is a contemporary prequel to the genre-defining film 'Psycho,' and promises to give viewers an intimate portrayal of how Norman Bates' psyche unravels through his teenage years. Fans will have access to the dark, twisted backstory of Norman Bates and how deeply intricate his relationship with his mother, Norma, truly is. The series stars Academy Award nominee Vera Farmiga ('Up in the Air,' 'The Departed'), Freddie Highmore ('Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,' 'Finding Neverland'), Max Thieriot ('Disconnect'), Olivia Cooke ('Blackout') and Nicola Peltz ('The Last Airbender'). Season one also co-stars Nestor Carbonell ('Lost,' 'The Dark Knight Rises') and Mike Vogel ('Pan Am').

A&E Announces Fan Contest to Create BATES MOTEL Title Sequence

A&E Network and executive producer Carlton Cuse are letting fans have a say in the creation of the new original drama series BATES MOTEL, starring Vera Farmiga and Freddie Highmore premiering this March. Carlton is asking the public for their help in creating the fifteen-second opening title sequence for the series as part of a Facebook contest for fans.

Broadway's Nina Arianda guest starred on last night's episode of the NBC comedy 30 ROCK, which also featured a special guest appearance by OlympIan Ryan Lochte. In the episode titled 'STRIDE OF PRIDE,' Liz (Tina Fey) works to prove to Tracy (Tracy Morgan) that women are funny while simultaneously attempting to head off a meltdown from Jenna (Jane Krakowski) after some negative publicity. Warner Bros. announced the release dates of several high-profile films for 2013. Included in these are the Hugh Jackman and Melissa Leo drama PRISONERS, set for a release of Sept. 20, 2013, and the Steve Carrell-Jim Carrey magician comedy, THE INCREDIBLE BURT WONDERSTONE for March 15, 2013.

Nina Arianda to Star in FELLINI BLACK AND WHITE Film

Tony Award-winner Nina Arianda will play Italian film star Giulietta Masina, wife of visionary filmmaker Federico Fellini, in Fellini Black and White produced by Andrew Lazar (Jonah Hex, I Love You Phillip Morris). The film, written and directed by Henry Bromell (consulting producer and writer of Showtime's Golden Globe Award-winning series Homeland) is set to begin production in early 2013. Arianda joins a cast that includes Oscar-nominees William H. Macy, Terrence Howard, Emmy and Golden Globe winner Peter Dinklage, and Brazilian breakout star Wagner Maura who will play the title role of the iconic director.
