Jewel, John Legend, Jennifer Hudson, Kristin Chenoweth and Vanessa Williams have surprised attendees over the past five years as part of the annual 'An Evening of Unexpected Delights' fundraiser benefiting The Journey Home, Baltimore City's plan to make homelessness rare and brief. For the event's sixth year, there is no more guessing. The organization has let the cat out of the bag, announcing The Roots will take the stage with special guest, Tony Award-winner Leslie Odom, Jr. of 'Hamilton' today, October 22, 2016 at the Modell Performing Arts Center at The Lyric.

Rehearsals began today for the Broadway premiere of A BRONX TALE THE MUSICAL, the new musical featuring a book by Academy Award nominee Chazz Palminteri, music by Oscar, Grammy, and Tony Award winner Alan Menken, and lyrics by Grammy Award winner and Oscar and Tony Award nominee Glenn Slater, co-directed by two-time Oscar winner Robert De Niro and four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks, with choreography by Tony nominee Sergio Trujillo. The show is produced by Tommy Mottola, the Dodgers, and Tribeca Productions.
