Vanessa Hudgens, now starring in Broadway's GIGI, appeared on the Tony red carpet just moments ago and commented on her next project, portraying the iconic role of Rizzo in FOX's upcoming live broadcast of 'Grease.'

It's that time of year, and I can't help but wonder if your CD collection and iPod are Tonys ready. It's just a handful of hours until the 69th annual Tony Awards, which will be broadcast live on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at 8/7c on CBS. This Broadway season has some exciting contenders in the musical categories, and to get you ready for the big night, I'm recapping the albums you should be listening to (or at least pre-ordering).

Christian Slater has been announced to play Sir Galahad in the Hollywood Bowl's upcoming production of Monty Python's Spamalot, the parody of the Arthurian Legend which won the Tony for Best Musical in 2005.

Of course not everyone can be piled into Radio City Music Hall so, instead of sitting on your couch anxiously awaiting for the winners to be announced and drinking a fun musical themed cocktail, 'It Shoulda Gin You' is our favorite, you could be out in hitting up some of the best Tony Award Viewing Parties. The Tony Awards today announced that more than 175 performers will join Josh Groban on-stage for a special performance - the most performers in a single number in Tony Awards history - at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday night for the 69th Annual Tony Awards. The 2015 Tony Awards will broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City, on CBS, on Sunday, June 7th 8:00 - 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT time delay) and are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

Fox Broadcasting Company (FOX) and Paramount Television announced today that film, television and stage actress and singer Keke Palmer (SCREAM QUEENS, "Masters of Sex") will be joining the cast of GREASE: LIVE as the sassy Pink Lady "Marty Maraschino." Palmer will star alongside Julianne Hough (as "Sandy") and Vanessa Hudgens (as "Rizzo"). In addition, Broadway writers Robert Cary ("Anything but Love," "Ira & Abby") and Jonathan Tolins ("Buyer & Cellar," "The Last Sunday in June") will write the LIVE television adaptation airing on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016 (7:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.

STARS IN THE ALLEY, presented by United Airlines, was held just yesterday in Shubert Alley, hosted by Darren Criss who is currently playing Hedwig in the 2014 Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival, Hedwig and the Angry Inch. To add to the festivities leading up to the Tony Awards, the free outdoor concert in the heart of the Theatre District celebrated Broadway with star appearances and exciting performances from over 20 new shows and long-running favorites, accompanied by a 12-piece live orchestra, including many of this year's 2015 Tony Award - nominated plays and musicals!
