Mixed Magic Theatre has announced that it will be presenting the world premiere of 'The Diner and Mr. Stone,' a play by Kevin Broccoli, this coming October.

The 14/15 Season at Syracuse Stage starts tonight, September 24, with Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, winner of the 2013 Tony Award for Best Play. In this 'ripped and roaring' comedy by Christopher Durang, Sonia and Vanya have frittered their lives away in the family farmhouse. Enter their sister, self-absorbed movie star Masha with her 20-something boy toy Spike, and a dysfunctional family's reunion turns into a weekend of hilarity.

Trinity Repertory Company opens its 51st season: The Necessity of Human Connection with one of Anton Chekov's earliest works, IVANOV. Adapted by Artistic Director, Curt Columbus, IVANOV, explores a man struggling as his personal and professional worlds collide, and he appears to have no ability to control it.

The William & Eva Fox Foundation and Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, have announced the ninth round of Fox Foundation Resident Actor Fellowships recipients. The program is designed to support actors' professional and artistic development, to enrich relationships between actors and nonprofit theatres and to ensure continued professional commitment to live theatre. Funded by the Fox Foundation and administered by TCG, the fellowship is one of only a few programs of its kind for actors in the country.
