Tickets for Cameron Mackintosh's new 25th anniversary production of Les Miserables will go on sale at 10 a.m., Friday, October 21 for the premiere San Antonio engagement at the Majestic Theatre. The all new production of Les Miserables features glorious new staging and spectacular reimagined scenery inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo.

The Evening Standard Theatre Awards, established in 1955, are presented annually for outstanding achievements in London Theatre. Sponsored by the Evening Standard newspaper, this year's awards will be announced on November 20.

In Glenn Close's latest film she stars as Albert Nobbs- a woman passing as a man in order to work and survive in 19th century Ireland. Some twenty years after donning men's clothing, she finds herself lost in a prison of her own making. Close previously won an Obie Award for playing the Nobbs character Off-Broadway in Simone Benmussa's theatrical interpretation of Moore's short story, 'The Singular Life of Albert Nobbs.

The role of Gerado, the husband of Paulina Salas (Thandie Newton), will be played by Tom Goodman-Hill, and Doctor Roberto Miranda will be played by Anthony Calf in Ariel Dorfman's Olivier award-winning thriller Death and the Maiden.

Trevor Nunn's production of James Goldman's The Lion in Winter, produced by the Theatre Royal Haymarket Company, runs from 5 November 2011 - 28 January 2012, with press night on 15 November 2011. According to the Toronto Star, Ontario nativeand teen superstar Justin Bieber is being considered to star in an upcoming Toronto production of Les Miserables. Producer Cameron Mackintosh revealed to The Star: 'you're going to have a completely new, all-Canadian production opening at the Royal Alex in July, 2012.'

The first London production for 90 years of St John Ervine's searing Belfast tragedy Mixed Marriage, first seen at the Abbey Theatre, Dublin, plays for a four-week season beginning tonight (Press Night: Thursday, 6 October 2011 at 7.30pm) at the multi-award-winning Finborough Theatre.
