Bay Street Theatre welcomed Joy Behar, Susie Essman, Julie Halston, Angela LaGreca and Mercedes Ruehl to the stage as they performed a night of comedy, song and original artistic pieces for the Broads for Bay Street as a benefit for the theatre to raise money for its summer and educational programs. The Neo Political Cowgirls (NPC) are performing their summer fundraiser production of EVE tonight, July 31 and Thursday, August 1 at 8 pm at LTV Studies at 75 Industrial Road in Wainscott, NY. A portion of the proceeds to benefit Bay Street Theatre.

Bay Street Theatre to Continue Summer Music Theater Camps in August; Space Still Available

Bay Street Theatre is announcing that August's Summer Music Theater Camps; August 5-9; and August 12-16 have only a few spaces left. The camps are for students aged 8 through 12, and run Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 12:30 pm daily at Studio 3 in Bridgehampton. Each week long camp includes many aspects of theatre including improv, vocal instruction, dance and more. This summer's first and last week of camp will be led by Karen Peele Hochstedler. Classes held during August 5-9 will be led by Christine Martinez and Bobby Peterson.

The Bay Street Theatre, a not-for-profit professional regional theatre situated on Long Wharf, in Sag Harbor, NY, is pleased to announce the appointment of Diana Aceti as its new Director of Development. A resident of Sag Harbor, Aceti brings over twenty years of fundraising, marketing, strategic planning and communications experience to Bay Street Theatre. She has spent the last year as Director of External Relations and Advancement at The Watermill Center, and the previous seven years as Director of Development & Major Gifts at East Hampton's Ross School.

The shows are LEND ME A TENOR, by Ken Ludwig; directed by Don Stephenson (May 28 - June 23), THE MYSTERY OF IRMA VEP by Charles Ludlum; directed by Kenneth Elliott (July 2 - 28) and A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM, directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge; book by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.

MARTHA SPEAKS Plays Live at Bay Street Theatre Today

Bay Street Theatre, partnering with the Children's Museum of the East End (CMEE) will present 'MARTHA SPEAKS' live on stage at Bay Street Theatre today, May 11 at 11 am. The hugely popular children's animated series, MARTHA SPEAKS, is seen daily on PBS Kids and based on Susan Meddaugh's best-selling children's books, Martha the dog is given the power of speech after eating alphabet soup. This live presentation will have something to say to all ages.

TODAY's Jill Rappaport Hosts TRAVELS WITH CHARLEY to Benefit ARF and Bay Street Theatre Today

Bay Street Theatre is partnering with Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF) in honoring Steinbeck Weekend by presenting the 'Travels With Charley' Dog Walk today, May 4 at 8:30 am. Jill Rappaport, TODAY show correspondent and award-winning animal advocate, serves as celebrity host along with Barbara Slifka as Honorary Chair. Dogs and their owners will start the walk at Haven's Beach. (Water will be available for both dogs and owners along the way.) The walk finishes at Bay Street Theatre, where there will be a 'Bagels and Bones' reception immediately after the walk. A Grand Prize will be given to the person that raises the most money.

Bay Street Theatre's Annual Benefit, This Year Hosted by Joy Behar, Declared a Success

Bay Street Theatre held its Second Annual Honors Benefit on Saturday, April 27 at East Hampton Point, hosted by funny-lady and Bay Street Thatre Board Member Joy Behar. This year the honorees were Hampton's Hometown Heroes including David Bray, Ana R. Daniel, Michael Grim and James Osburn. All four of the honorees support Bay Street as well as many other local businesses & non-profits in the Hampton's Community. The event is held Spring each year, not only to recognize outstanding patron involvement, but also to raise funds for its theatrical and educational programs.
