Bay Street Theatre held its Second Annual Honors Benefit on Saturday, April 27 at East Hampton Point, hosted by funny-lady and Bay Street Thatre Board Member Joy Behar. This year the honorees were Hampton's Hometown Heroes including David Bray, Ana R. Daniel, Michael Grim and James Osburn. All four of the honorees support Bay Street as well as many other local businesses & non-profits in the Hampton's Community. The event is held Spring each year, not only to recognize outstanding patron involvement, but also to raise funds for its theatrical and educational programs. Bay Street Theatre announces its Second Annual Honors Benefit tonight, April 27 at East Hampton Point. This year the honorees are Hampton's Hometown Heroes include David Bray, Ana R. Daniel, Michael Grim and James Osburn. All four of the honorees support Bay Street as well as many other local businesses & non-profits in the Hampton's Community. The event starts with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and buffet followed by the presentation of awards, which will be kicked off by funny lady, Joy Behar, at 8pm.

Bay Street Theatre is partnering with Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF) in honoring Steinbeck Weekend by presenting the 'Travels With Charley' Dog Walk on Saturday, May 4 at 8:30 am. Jill Rappaport, TODAY show correspondent and award-winning animal advocate, serves as celebrity host along with Barbara Slifka as Honorary Chair. Dogs and their owners will start the walk at Haven's Beach. (Water will be available for both dogs and owners along the way.) The walk finishes at Bay Street Theatre, where there will be a 'Bagels and Bones' reception immediately after the walk. A Grand Prize will be given to the person that raises the most money.

Bay Street Theatre, partnering with the Children's Museum of the East End (CMEE) will present 'MARTHA SPEAKS' live on stage at Bay Street Theatre on Saturday, May 11 at 11 am. The hugely popular children's animated series, MARTHA SPEAKS, is seen daily on PBS Kids and based on Susan Meddaugh's best-selling children's books, Martha the dog is given the power of speech after eating alphabet soup. This live presentation will have something to say to all ages.

The shows are LEND ME A TENOR, by Ken Ludwig; directed by Don Stephenson (May 28 - June 23), THE MYSTERY OF IRMA VEP by Charles Ludlum; directed by Kenneth Elliott (July 2 - 28) and A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM, directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge; book by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.

unce that the Presidential Inauguration will be broadcast on the big screen on Monday, January 21 from 10 am - 1 pm. Bring your neighbors and come in out of the cold as Bay Street Theatre once again throws open its doors for a not-to-be-missed event. Watch the events unfold on the big screen with family, friends, and co-workers. Students and groups are welcome too. The doors open at 10am; coffee and refreshments will be available for purchase.

Bay Street Theatre is busily working on preparing an exciting 2013 Mainstage Season along with many other projects. Reliable volunteers are needed to help out to usher, assist in special events, or work in the office or marketing outreach.

Bay Street Theatre has announced a special holiday event for the entire family. The 4th Annual HOLIDAY CONCERT AND SING-A-LONG tonight, December 18 at 7 pm features the Broadway Irish tenor Ciaran Sheehan accompanied by pianist Brenda Landrum, and is made possible by the generous gifts of some Bay Street patrons. Suggested donation is $10 and a canned good for our local food pantry.
