TheatreWorks, the nationally-acclaimed theatre of Silicon Valley, has announced the line-up for its 2010-2011 season. Founding Artistic Director Robert Kelley and Managing Director Phil Santora announced a 41st season that will include three world premieres (bringing the company's total to 56); three regional premieres including the newest play by the author of AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY, Broadway's quirky hit musical about writers writing a quirky hit musical and a spell-binding mystery about a Japanese-American veteran charged with murder; and two Broadway favorites. The company will once again lead off with an extensive New Works Festival.

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater will honor legendary playwright Edward Albee with the American Artist Award at the Arena Stage Benefit for Community Engagement Monday, March 14, 2011. Sprinkled with chuckles and glazed with connections, Superior Donuts tells the story of how an unlikely friendship can emerge in the most unexpected places. In Chicago's diverse Uptown neighborhood, a downtrodden donut shop owner hires a street-savvy and aspiring young writer with hustle and bright ideas.

The neighborhood, the donut shop, and Arthur have all gone to pot. When young Franco Wicks busts in with fresh dough and even fresher dreams, stale Arthur can no longer pretend he doesn't care. The author of the Pulitzer Prize and Tony award winning August: Osage County turns up the comedic heat on a man and a community grappling with change.

First Stage presents the world premiere of THE MAGIC BICYCLE, an original time-travel adventure full of comedy and heart. THE MAGIC BICYCLE runs January 14 through February 5, 2011 at the Todd Wehr Theater in the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, 929 N. Water Street in downtown Milwaukee. Tony Award-winning producer Andy Sandberg (Hair, The Last Smoker in America) will present the world premiere of the provocative new play, A Perfect Future, by David Hay (The Maddening Truth) with direction by Tony Award-nominee Wilson Milam (The Lieutenant of Inishmore).
