Producers Scott Morfee, Jean Doumanian and Tom Wirtshafter, who presented the critically acclaimed landmark production of Thornton Wilder's Our Town, will next present the New York premiere of the new comedy, Mistakes Were Made, by Craig Wright with direction by Dexter Bullard. The two-character play features Academy Award-nominee Michael Shannon as producer Felix Artifex and Mierka Girten as his assistant Esther, and reunites the creative team of the Off-Broadway smash hit Bug (Bullard, Shannon and Barrow Street). The 16- week limited engagement will begin performances Friday, November 5, 2010 at the Barrow Street Theatre. Opening night is set for Sunday evening, November 14, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.

Pittsburgh Public Theater Producing Artistic Director Ted Pappas, who is currently celebrating his 10th year as the company's leader, today announced the line-up of plays for 2010/2011. The season includes a six-play subscription series, running September 30, 2010 through June 26, 2011, plus two bonus events.

TheatreWorks, the nationally-acclaimed theatre of Silicon Valley, has announced the line-up for its 2010-2011 season. Following its successful run at The Public Theater, BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON will now begin performances on Broadway at the Bernard Jacobs Theatre (242 W. 45th Street) on Monday, September 20, 2010 and officially open on Wednesday, October 13, 2010.

Tracy Letts' Tony Award-winning Oklahoma-set play August: Osage County will make its Oklahoma resident-theatre premiere Oct. 7-10 at Oklahoma City Repertory Theatre.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Oklahoma native Tracy Letts featuring Pam Dougherty, Stacey Logan, Jonathan Beck Reed, Michael Jones, and D. Lance Marsh. The production runs October 7-10, 2010, at The Freede Little Theatre in the Civic Center Music Hall.

The cast of the historic Human Race Theatre Company/Wright State University Theatre Department collaborative production of Tracy Letts' Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece, August: Osage County, is now set. The 13-member ensemble of seven professionals and six WSU students includes two performers who were understudies during the play's five-Tony-winning run on Broadway.
