The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will begin the three-month engagement at JOE'S PUB at The Public Theater tonight, January 16 at 9:30 PM with a celebration of Rock legend David Bowie.

On Monday, February 24 at 8pm, Town Hall will kick-off the 14th season of its Broadway by the Year Series with THE BROADWAY MUSICALS OF 1915-1939 which will feature Tony Award-winners Tonya Pinkins and Beth Leavel, as well as Tony Award-nominees Carolee Carmello, Stephanie J. Block, Karen Akers, and Emily Skinner, Drama Desk Award-nominees Aaron Lazar, Julia Murney and Kerry O'Malley, Grammy Award-winner Lari White, and Noah Racey (Curtains), Camille Saviola (Nine), concert and recording artist Howard Fishman and Nightlife Award-winner Carole J. The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will begin the three-month engagement at JOE'S PUB at The Public Theater on Thursday, January 16 at 9:30 PM with a celebration of Rock legend David Bowie. After a highly-successful season at 54 Below, the show is returning to its downtown roots this year. The January show will feature special guests Michael Musto, Molly Pope, Joseph Keckler, Bridget Barkan, Michael Cavadias and Raquel Cion.

Produced and created by Bobby Cronin, INSPIRED is a benefit concert series for animal rescue organizations across the country that will play every other month, with a rotating line-up of some of today's exciting musical theatre writers in a casual and intimate setting as they sit behind the piano and, unlike traditional concerts of their material, perform songs by other writers that have inspired their work. The INSPIRED series hopes to spread the word about the 2.7 million adoptable animals that are euthanized each year in America.

After a highly-successful season at 54 Below, the show returns to its downtown roots to honor Bowie, Bernadette and Buffy this year. The run will feature tributes to Rock legend David Bowie (Thursday, January 16), stage and screen star Bernadette Peters (Sunday, February 16) and the popular TV program 'Buffy, the Vampire Slayer' (Sunday, March 16). All performances are at 9:30 PM. Special guests will be announced shortly.

(LDF) hosted a special fundraising event at 54 Below (254 W. 54th Street, NYC) as part of its 'Artists For Justice' initiative. Signature Theatre presents the World Premiere of CHERI, conceived, directed and choreographed byMartha Clarke, now playing a limited six-week run through Sunday, December 29. The production began preview performances on November 19 and opening was last night, December 8 in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues).
