Tonya Pinkins, Rupert Holmes and Cast of A TIME TO KILL Set for Cabaret Benefit for NAACP Tonight

Tony Winner Tonya Pinkins will host a cabaret benefit for the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, featuring Tony Winner Rupert Holmes and the cast of Broadway's A TIME TO KILL, as well as other celebrity guests, at 54 Below tonight, December 18th at 7 p.m.

As you may know, the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. Inc. (LDF), is one of America's greatest institutions at the forefront of the fight for racial and social justice for over seventy (70) years. Throughout its history, LDF has successfully fought for inclusion and equal access to education, employment, housing and voting rights for all Americans.

Recently, LDF launched the "Artist For Justice" initiative, which works with those in the arts and entertainment to develop unique ideas in support of the organization. The first project under "Artists For Justice" is a special fund raising event. Tony Award Winning actress Tonya Pinkins and her friends and cast mates from the Broadway play A TIME TO KILL are performing a Cabaret concert to benefit LDF's mission.

The cabaret event will be held on Wednesday, December 18th at 54 Below , 254 West 54th St. New York, dinner at 5:30 show begins promptly at 7:00pm.
