Hosted by Sir Ian McKellen, last night, November 1, the Only Make Believe Gala featured a number of performances including the casts of Memphis, the Cast of Billy Elliot: The Musical, and others. Also on-hand was Josh Lucas, James Wesley, Brad Oscar, Matthew Settle, Seth Rudetsky, The Glamazons among others. BroadwayWorld was there to celebrate the benefit and brings you photo coverage below.

Last night, October 25th, James Goldman and Stephen Sondheim's never-before-staged Evening Primrose took a one-night-only bow to benefit the St. George's Society of New York 's Anglo-American Cultural Awards at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College. The production starred Candice Bergen, John McMartin, Sean Palmer, Bill Duell, John Windsor Cunningham, and Jessica Grove. As previously reported, on October 25th, James Goldman and Stephen Sondheim's never-before-staged Evening Primrose - will take a one-night-only bow to benefit the St. George's Society of New York 's Anglo-American Cultural Awards at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College. In addition to Candice Bergen, John McMartin, Sean Palmer, Bill Duell, and John Windsor Cunningham, Jessica Grove is also joining the production. Grove is currently starring in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC on Broadway.

For the first time in Ogunquit Playhouse history, the season has been extended past Columbus Day weekend to October 24. Now is the perfect time to see the multi Tony Award winning Broadway musical Chicago, which is receiving rave reviews from the press for its 'stellar casting,' 'sensational staging' and 'killer choreography.' This record-breaking smash hit stars Ogunquit favorite Sally Struthers, as Matron 'Mama' Morton, keeper of the jailhouse keys and George Dvorsky as the slick lawyer, Billy Flynn. Chicago also stars Broadway veteran Angie Schworer as housewife turned murderess Roxie Hart and Broadway's Rachelle Rak as the seductive night club singer and double murderess, Velma Kelly. Tony-Award winner Paul Kreppel also stars as Amos (aka Mr. Cellophane), Roxie's husband who agrees to take the blame for her violent crime.

Arlington, Friedman Set For Bewitched, The Songs of Rodgers and Hart 10/22

There will be two casts for the special concert / benefits of "Bewitched, The Songs of Rodgers and Hart" at The Triad Theatre 158 West 72nd Street NYC (east of Broadway) by The Philhallmonic Society. Asolo Repertory Theatre announced the complete cast of its upcoming production of Bonnie & Clyde a thrilling new musical with book by Ivan Menchell (The Cemetery Club, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang); music by Frank Wildhorn (Jekyll & Hyde, The Scarlet Pimpernel); lyrics by Tony Award-winner Don Black (Sunset Boulevard, Song and Dance); Music Supervision, Arrangements and Orchestrations by John McDaniel; and direction and musical staging by Tony Award- winner Jeff Calhoun (Deaf West's Big River and Pippin, Grease!). The production runs from November 16 - December 19, 2010 on the Asolo Rep mainstage-The Mertz Theatre. The press opening is November 19, at 8 p.m.
