Tom Stoppard's The Real Thing, directed by Brooke Ciardelli, runs live on stage at the Briggs Opera House in White River Junction from February 16 - March 6, 2011. Performances are Tuesdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 5:00 p.m., except for the Opening Night performance on Friday, Feb. 18 at 7:00 p.m., with a 2:00 p.m. matinee on Thursday, Feb. 24.

AUBREY DAN, President, Dancap Productions Inc., today announced Dancap's 2011 Subscription Series featuring the Canadian premiere of five new musicals direct from Broadway, and the return of The Lincoln Center Theater production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's SOUTH PACIFIC.

According to Deadline.com, Broadway veteran, Stockard Channing is on board for NBC's 17th Precinct pilot. The supernatural cop series is being developed and produced by Ron Moore. The drama takes place in the 'fictional town of Excelsior where magic and supernatural elements rule over science.'

Nashville's Blackbird Theater Company offers a second sneak-peek at its upcoming production of Tom Stoppard's Arcadia, featuring David Compton and Denice Hicks. Directed by Ted Swindley, this second production of Blackbird's inaugural season also features Amanda Card-McCoy, Jeff Boyet, Wes Driver, Britt Byrd and Scott Rice. Brian Cox, Jim Gaffigan, Chris Noth, Jason Patric and Kiefer Sutherland will star in the Broadway revival of Jason Miller's Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning play THAT CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON, directed by Gregory Mosher. Preview performances begin on Wednesday, February 9th, 2011 with and official opening on Sunday, March 6th, 2011 at the Bernard B Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45 Street).

London's Royal Court Theatre received nine nominations this morning for the 2011 Olivier Awards, dominating the Best New Play category with three nominations for its productions of Clybourne Park, Sucker Punch and Tribes.

Playwright/director Ted Swindley helms a much-anticipated production of Tom Stoppard's Arcadia, presented by Blackbird Theater at Nashville's David Lipscomb University's Shamblin Theatre February 25-March 12. Swindley's cast includes Denice Hicks, Amanda Card-McCoy, David Compton, Jeff Boyet, Wes Driver, Britt Byrd, Scott Rice and Brad Forrister. Curtain is at 7 p.m. for all performances.

Pioneer Theatre Company presents the drama In, a world premiere by Bess Wohl, February 18 through March 5, 2011.

BroadwayWorld has learned that the upcoming Broadway production of ARCADIA has delayed the start of performances by one day, now set to begin on February 26. The delay is due to more rehearsal time needed, given weather complications and delays in visa processing for the British cast members.

As The Prince of Homburg opens at the Donmar, Michael Grandage, the company's Artistic Director announces a major expansion to the run of his forthcoming production of King Lear, which will see the company tour nationally, and will be broadcast to over 22 countries worldwide in collaboration with National Theatre Live.
