The Cameron Mackintosh/Really Useful Theatre Company, Inc. production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, directed by Harold Prince, returning to the Benedum Center, August 25-September 19, 2010, has announced casting for the production's farewell Pittsburgh engagement.

Fresh off of his run at Primary Stage's Secrets of the Trade, Bill Brochtrup ('NYPD Blue') will take over the role of 'Alex' in John Pollono's sold out and critically acclaimed Fringe hit LOST AND FOUND, as it begins a run at the historic Lucille Lortel Theater (121 Christopher Street) as part of the Fringe Encores Series (September 18- 25).

BACKWARDS IN HIGH HEELS tells the story of this legendary dancer, singer and actress through the music of some of the 20th century's greatest composers and with plenty of dance numbers worthy of the Hollywood icon. BACKWARDS IN HIGH HEELS plays in Tucson at the Temple of Music and Art from September 10 through October 2. Producing Artistic Director Carolyn Griffin is pleased to announce that MetroStage's 2010-11 season will open with the world premiere of Glimpses of the Moon, a Jazz Age musical based on a novel by Edith Wharton. The book and lyrics are written by Tajlei Levis and the composer is John Mercurio. Glimpses of the Moon will be in performance Sept. 8-Oct. 17.
