The Film Society of Lincoln Center has announced that the November and December lineups for its ongoing Family Films series and Midnight Movies series.

Screenwriter Billy Ray will deliver the keynote address at the Academy Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting ceremony on Thursday, November 8, at the Beverly Wilshire.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Benedict Cumberbatch has signed on to star in an upcoming biopic on Beatles manager Brian Epstein. Sherlock director Paul McGuigan has also signed on for the project, and Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman will produce under Playtone.
