The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced today that the 2013 Public Theater annual gala will celebrate the company's acclaimed 1980 production of the musical, THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE, with a one-night-only concert performance on Monday, June 10 at the Delacorte Theater where The Public's production originally premiered more than three decades ago. Sir Howard Stringer, Arielle Tepper Madover, and Renee Beaumont will serve as Gala Co-Chairs for this unforgettable evening that will also honor the late Nora Ephron who was a longtime Public Theater board member and consummate lover of Shakespeare in the Park.

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University is pleased to announce award-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan's new play All The Way will open the A.R.T.'s 2013-14 Season at the Loeb Drama Center and begin performances on September 13, 2013. The Film Society of Lincoln Center presents the film series Foxy, The Complete Pam Grier (today, March 15-17). Screening at the Walter Reade Theater (165 West 65th Street) and the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center (144 West 65th Street), and highlighted by the attendance of Grier at several screenings, the film series includes such fan favorites and notable classics as THE BIG BIRD CAGE (1972), COFFY (1973), ESCAPE FROM LA (1996), FOXY BROWN (1974), and GREASED LIGHTNING (1977), as well as JACKIE BROWN (1997) featuring her Golden Globe and SAG Award nominated performance in the title role.

The Burger Palace Boys and the Pink Ladies take you for a joyride back to 1959 in the Cabrillo Music Theatre premiere of the classic rock 'n' roll musical, GREASE. At one time the longest-running Broadway musical in history, GREASE gave birth to two revivals and a beloved movie. Songs include "Summer Lovin'," "We Go Together," "Beauty School Dropout," and "Greased Lightnin'," among many others. Cabrillo audiences will go to the pajama party with Sandy and Rizzo; pile into the trunk and ride to the drive-in movie with Danny, Kenickie and the guys; and dance the "Hand Jive" in the High School Gym. GREASE opens on Friday, April 12th, 2013, and plays until Sunday, April 21st, at the 1,800-seat Kavli Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, located at 2100 Thousand Oaks Boulevard in Thousand Oaks.

The Fourth Annual ART PROJECT LOS ANGELES, featuring an art auction and red carpet reception, will benefit AIDS Project Los Angeles. The three-day event at the beautifully-renovated Bonhams includes live and silent auctions known to feature works by Basquiat, Ruscha, Warhol, and more. ART PROJECT LOS ANGELES runs Friday, June 28 through Sunday, June 30, 2013.

The Film Society of Lincoln Center announced today Old Ghosts, New Dreams: The Emerging Cambodian Cinema (April 19-25). To be presented in conjunction with the citywide Season of Cambodia arts festival, FSLC will team with the great documentarian Rithy Panh to screen a fascinating survey of films from Cambodia.

The Film Society of Lincoln Center presents a special Sneak Preview screening event this month at the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center (144 West 65th Street). FSLC will present Dreamworks Animation's upcoming 3D film, THE CROODS tonight, March 13. The filmmaker will attend and participate in tonight's Q&A.

From May 23 to July 7, 2013, The Walt Disney Family Museum presents the special exhibition Maurice Sendak: 50 Years, 50 Works, 50 Reasons, featuring 50 works by the legendary author and illustrator, accompanied by 50 statements from celebrities, authors, and noted personalities on the influence of Sendak's work.

The Film Society of Lincoln Center today announced the departure of Robert Koehler, and the appointment of critic and programmer Dennis Lim as Director of Cinematheque Programming. Koehler will step down immediately and return to Los Angeles to focus on personal matters and requests that his family's privacy be respected.
