The Wardrobe Ensemble To Present A Brand-new Production At Edinburgh Festival Fringe

Award-winning theatre company The Wardrobe Ensemble today announce that it will take a brand-new production to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this summer. The production will mark the company's return to Edinburgh following its The Scotsman Fringe First Award and The Stage Edinburgh Award winning, smash-hit production Education, Education, Education, which will have its West End debut at Trafalgar Studios this summer, and The Stage Award winning 1972: The Future of Sex. Created as part of the Royal & Derngate's Resident Ensemble programme and developed in partnership with Complicite, The Last of the Pelican Daughters will preview at Royal & Derngate's Royal stage on Thursday 25 and Friday 26 July, before playing at Pleasance Beyond 31 July - 25 Aug 2019.

The North Wall today announce the full programme for Alchymy Festival 2019, running from 12-14 April at The North Wall Arts Centre. The programme includes performances, industry events, work-in-progress showings, and workshops, as well as performances from winners of the inaugural Alchymy Company Award and Alchymy Writing Residencies. The festival was programmed by The North Wall co-directors John Hoggarth and Ria Parry, and producer Ellie Keel, and is supported by Arts Council England.

Does the singular act of donating a kidney make you a hero? Amanda has a certificate dedicated to her heroism but she's uncomfortable with that label. On the other hand! She loves the attention being a hero provides her so she wrote a solo show about all the containers of pee she had to carry on the subway. I'm Just Kidneying takes a whimsical look into the process of living kidney donation and pokes holes into the idea of what it takes to be "hero material."
The North Wall Announces New Creative Associates

The North Wall Arts Centre today (1st October 2018) announces the appointment of its new Creative Associates. The ten companies and artists have been appointed by Co-Directors Ria Parry and John Hoggarth to inform the Oxford venue's artistic vision and to shape future collaborations. The Associates will be supported through R&D, residencies and co-productions.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Griffin's LETTERS HOME puts the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq front and center by bringing to life actual letters written by soldiers serving in the Middle East. Written and directed by Bill Massolia, the critically acclaimed production returns home to Chicago after touring the U.S. for more than a decade.

Pacific Stages will follow up their debut production of Lobby Hero with the world premiere of Something Happened, by award-winning playwright L. Trey Wilson. Something Happened runs April 1 through May 16 at Pacific Stages in El Segundo and will be directed by L. Trey Wilson. The press opening begins April 8 and there will be an opening reception Saturday, April 10.
