The Ford's Theatre Society 2014-2015 season continues with the musical Freedom's Song: Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War, directed by Jeff Calhoun, March 13 through May 20, 2015, at the historic Ford's Theatre (511 Tenth Street NW, Washington, D.C.). A new adaptation of the Broadway musical The Civil War, Freedom's Song features the words of Abraham Lincoln and music inspired by the letters of those who lived through the Civil War. The production is part of Ford's 150: Remembering the Lincoln Assassination, a series of events marking the 150 years since Abraham Lincoln's assassination at Ford's Theatre.

Broadway Barre, a monthly musical-theatre themed event hosted by Kate Pazakis, continues July 28th at 8 PM. This month's special guest: The National Touring cast of WE WILL ROCK YOU.

Queen and Ben Elton's 'We Will Rock You,' created by Ben Elton with music supervisors Brian May and Roger Taylor, is coming to the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre, and with it comes a rock attitude.'We Will Rock You' opened last night, Wednesday, July 16, and runs through August 24, 2014. The worldwide smash hit 'rock theatrical', Queen and Ben Elton's We Will Rock You, built around 24 of Queen's biggest hits will rock The 5th Avenue Theatre July 8-13. We Will Rock You is produced by Queen Theatrical Productions, Tribeca Theatrical Productions, Phil McIntyre Entertainment and NETworks Presentations.

The Red Fern Theatre Company presents Identity Crisis: A Benefit Concert on February 9th at 7pm at Stage 72 (formerly The Triad). Fundamental Theater Project will present the upcoming staged reading of Supersoldier, a new rock musical with book, music and lyrics by Hair co-creator, Jim Rado. The reading is presented in collaboration with New York Theatre Barn, and will be directed by NYTB Artistic Director, Joe Barros. Ted Rado also serves as Co-Book Writer on the piece, and Steve Margoshes and Marteen Andruet join as Musical Directors.

Bridget Bailey performs the New York premiere of her critically acclaimed one-woman show CHILD OF HUNGRY TIMES at the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. The show runs June 11th-28th at 440 Studios.

GUSTY WINDS' television appearances include 'Queer Eye For The Straight Guy,' 'Primetime Live with Diane Sawyer' and 'The Rikki Lake Show.' She also starred in a commercial for MTV's 'Jackass 2.' In addition to her titles of 2005 Miss Fire Island Entertainer of the Year and 2001 Miss Grove Hotel, Gusty is the recipient of the 2005 GLAMMY Award for Best Performance of the Year.

The Laurie Beechman Theatre, located within The West Bank Caf? (407 West 42nd St.), is pleased to present Bistro, MAC and Nightlife Award winner Brandon Cutrell in Brandon Cutrell & Co-Horts, Brandon's new cabaret showcase. Brandon Cutrell & Co-Horts, which will be emceed by Brandon Cutrell, will feature five individuals, each of whom will present a fifteen minute, three song set. From original works to contemporary musical theatre to standards from the Great American Songbook, this show will provide audience members with the opportunity to meet some of New York's youngest, but most promising up-and-coming talent. Brandon Cutrell & Co-Horts will occur on Thursday, February 5th, at 9:30pm and Friday, February 13th at 8pm at The Laurie Beechman Theatre. There is a $20 cover charge and a $15 food and drink minimum for this event.
