The Old Laundry Theatre, Bowness-on-Windermere, in the heart of the Lake District, announces its exciting and diverse Autumn season including GRIFF RHYS JONES' first solo comedy tour with his brand new show Jones And Smith. ALAN AYCKBOURN directs the first major revival of his classic comedy Henceforward. And, as part of Beatrix Potter's 150th anniversary year, The Old Laundry Theatre presents a new adaptation of Eric Pringle's insightful play Meeting Bea.

CARGO is an enthralling new play from author and playwright Tess Berry-Hart (Someone to Blame, Sochi 2014). Directed by Evening Standard Award nominee David Mercatali (Little Light, Radiant Vermin), this timely world premiere is a tense and provocative thriller that reveals just how much people are willing to risk in search of a better life.

Today, Curve Artistic Director, Nikolai Foster, announces the cast for his production of THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST. BAFTA and Golden Globe-nominated actress Cathy Tyson will star as the iconic Lady Bracknell in Foster's stylish reimagining of Wilde's much-loved comedy. Cathy is best known for her role in the multi-award winning film Mona Lisa, classic ITV drama series Band of Gold and her stage work with the RSC and Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse.

The New Actors Company will return to Park Theatre this month, by popular demand, with a new season of Sunday Readings in the Park. The new season Rediscovering Rep runs on selected Sundays between 22 May - 24 July 2016.

59E59 Theaters will host the US premiere of RADIANT VERMIN, written by Philip Ridley and directed by David Mercatali, at the 2016 Brits Off Broadway festival. Produced by Supporting Wall, Metal Rabbit Productions, and Soho Theatre, RADIANT VERMIN begins performances on Thursday, June 2 for a limited engagement through Sunday, July 3.

This January, Pipeline Theatre Company presents seven never before seen plays written by its PlayLab Class of 2016 in this year's Matchstick Series: Strange Tongues at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe (236 E. 3rd St, New York, NY). This year's PlayLab includes: Matthew Barbot, Jen Browne, Gina Femia, Reina Hardy, Jacob Marx Rice, Callan Stout, and Amy E. Witting. Performances will be January 13-15th at 7PM. The Brown/Trinity Rep MFA Programs present Timberlake Wertenbaker's The Love of the Nightingale directed by Caitlin Ryan O'Connell ('16) opening December 4, 2015. A modern adaptation of the Greek myth of Philomele, Nightingale tells the story of two sisters who survive foreign lands, vast journeys and extremes of love and violence.

The Watermill has announced the full company for its upcoming production of Macbeth, which runs from 2 - 7 November, before undertaking a tour of local schools.
