The first North American tour of the new stage adaptation of THE WIZARD OF OZ will follow the yellow brick road to Philadelphia for a limited engagement at the Academy of Music beginning June 3 - June 8 as part of the Broadway Philadelphia season, presented by The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts and The Shubert Organization.The press opening is scheduled for Tuesday, June 3 at 7:30 p.m.

CASA VALENTINA, the new play by four-time Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein, directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello, began performances on April 1 at Manhattan Theatre Club's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street) and officially opens on Broadway tonight, April 23, 2014.

Experience the passion and seduction in this elegant masterpiece, Tony Award-winning musical EVITA, coming to the Academy of Music June 17 - 22 for a limited engagement as part of BROADWAY PHILADELPHIA, presented by the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts and the Shubert Organization. The Bridges of Madison County, the new musical based on the best selling novel by Robert James Waller, opened last night, February 20, 2014, at 8:00 PM at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street). Four-time Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara reunites with Bartlett Sher, the Tony- winning director of South Pacific and The Light in the Piazza, for a stunning new musical by the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning team of Marsha Norman and Jason Robert Brown. BROADWAY PHILADELPHIA will present the Philadelphia premiere of Cirkopolis, the critically acclaimed show by Montreal-based troupe Cirque Eloize for a strictly limited engagement at the Merriam Theater from March 11 - March 16. According to The Hollywood Reporter, TRUE BLOOD's Jim Parrack is the latest to join the all-star cast, including Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner James Franco, Chris O'Dowd, Leighton Meester and Tony Award winner Jim Norton. Parrack will take on the role of 'Slim' in the revival, directed by Tony Award winner Anna D. Shapiro.
