'ROCKIN BEACH BLAST' is one night only tonight, June 29th at 8:00 pm at The Grove Theatre in historic downtown Upland.

The sixties was a time of incredible social change marked by some of the best music ever written. Relive the 'flower power' days with the hit import, C2 Entertainment's The Summer of Love, created by Chris McHarge and Colin Stewart, presented by the Hudson Village Theatre from July 3 to 14.

Sax master Joel “iReedMan” Peskin and famed soul singer Merry Clayton, who duetted with Mick Jagger on “Gimme Shelter,” are releasing a blistering new version of that Rolling Stones classic on their forthcoming album “Don't Burn the Bridge,” out June 4 from iReed Records.

In the new memoir The Whitestone Bridge by Sanford Lawrence, the life and times of the Whitestone neighborhood of Queens in the 1960s is captured with poignancy and humor. Amid the turbulent unrest of the 60s, Whitestone's quiet, middle-America-like feel sets the stage for former enemies, German and American veterans of WWII, to become neighbors whose sons grew to be best friends.

The William H. Gile Series presents THE Midtown Men at the Capitol Center for the Arts tonight, June 9, at 7:30 p.m. THE Midtown Men reunites Tony Award-winner Christian Hoff, nominee J. Robert Spencer, Michael Longoria and Daniel Reichard, the stars from the original cast of Broadway's Tony Award-winning musical 'Jersey Boys.' This event is free of charge; however tickets need to be reserved to ensure seating.

Long Wharf Theatre, in conjunction with Supreme Talent International will present Smokey Joe's Cafe: The Songs of Leiber and Stoller, on the Mainstage as part of its summer season. The musical runs from July 10-28 on the Mainstage. Tickets are $55.
