On January 6 and 7, Pace University's inaugural Pace Presents season at the Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts in Lower Manhattan continues into 2012 with two evenings of performances by Taylor 2, the Paul Taylor Dance Company's acclaimed ensemble.

This cult classic examines the desperation of unemployment, while celebrating the insanity of Christmas shopping and the ineffable 'cheer' of the holiday spirit.

Kean University continues the Premiere Artists series with a visit by Academy Award-winning actress and best-selling author Ellen Burstyn on Monday, December 5.

The New Group proudly announces casting for the second show in the company's 2011-2012 Season: Russian Transport, written by Erika Sheffer. Directed by Scott Elliott, the production will feature Janeane Garofalo, Daniel Oreskes, Morgan Spector, Sarah Steele and Raviv Ullman. Performances slated to begin January 17 at The New Group @ Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street). Official Opening Night is set for Monday, January 30.

Comedian, film and TV star Janeane Garofalo has just joined the New Group's production of Russian Transport by Erika Sheffer, directed by Scott Elliott. The production's run begins on January 17, 2012 at the Acorn Theater, with tickets on sale December 5th.

The Harvardwood Actors' Program, in association with The American Repertory Theatre / Moscow Art Theatre Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard University Alumni Association will present a reading of Billy Goda's screenplay The Cretan Bull.

Accidental Repertory Theater (John Strasberg, Founder/Artistic Director) will present the Good Morning America Johnny Johnson Dream Show written and directed by John Strasberg. It will open on November 20 and run through December 18, 2011 at The Living Theatre (21 Clinton).

Following Zoetic Stage's highly acclaimed 2010 debut of South Beach Babylon, this new production launches the company's adventurous 2011-12 season as part of the Arsht Center's Theater Up Close season.

TWO-MAN KIDNAPPING RULE is a bittersweet look at a contemporary male friendship in decline. Directed by Robin A. Paterson, performances run October 29 - November 20 at the New Ohio Theatre (154 Christopher Street in the West Vilage).

Actress Juliet Landau, best known to television audiences for her portrayal of Drusilla in 17 episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-2003) is currently co-starring onstage in John Patrick Shanley's Danny and the Deep Blue Sea @ Crown City Theatre through December 18. In our chat the actress, who is a member of the Actors Studio, talks about what it was like growing up the daughter of famous parents, actors Martin Landau and Barbara Bain, her favorite plays and what drew her to playwright John Patrick Shanley in the first place.
