KEIGWIN + COMPANY (K+C) returns to the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. on March 2-3, 2012 at 8pm.

KEIGWIN + COMPANY (K+C) returns to The Joyce Theater, 175 Eighth Avenue, NYC, for its annual weeklong season including the World Premieres of three new dances on June 12- 17, 2012.

Hailing from historic County Waterford, Danú is a traditional Irish ensemble that mixes ancient Irish music and new repertoire. They will be bringing their talents to the Capitol Center for the Arts Sunday March 11th at 4:00pm.

The Pit Stop Players, a twelve-member instrumental ensemble composed of veteran Broadway pit musicians, will present its second annual "Snapshots" concert on Monday, February 13, at 7:00 pm, at the Leonard Nimoy Thalia at Peter Norton Symphony Space, 2537 Broadway at 95th Street.

Larry Keigwin (Artistic Director) is a native New Yorker and graduate from Hofstra University, where he received a BA in Dance. As part of Pulitzer Prize nominee Eisa Davis's two-year position as artist-in-residence at Symphony Space, she will present an evening of songs from her most recent recording, Something Else, as well as other original works, and offers a sneak preview from her new music-theater work, Flowers are Sleeping, commissioned by Symphony Space that will receive its world premiere performance in April of 2013 as part of Symphony Space's Harlem Renaissance festival.

American Opera Projects (AOP) announces that composer Huang Ruo's The Weeping Camel and composer Gregory Spears's Paul's Case are awarded $10,000 each from the National Endowment of the Arts's ART WORKS initiative to support developmental workshop productions with AOP and producing partners. Both operas will be developed through AOP's First Chance series that presents concert readings of new operas in an intimate format that allows for direct conversation between audience and artist. Operas that receive fully-staged premieres after passing through First Chance include Tarik O'Regan's Heart of Darkness (London's Royal Opera House), Jorge Martín's Before Night Falls (Fort Worth Opera), and Stephen Schwartz's Séance on a Wet Afternoon (New York City Opera, Opera Santa Barbara), among many others.
