The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus and Managing Director William Russo, has announced its 2014/15 Season.

Today in 2000, Contact opened at the Vivien Beaumont Theatre, where it ran for 1010 performances.Contact: The Musical is a musical 'dance play' (some deemed it a ballet) that was developed by Susan Stroman and John Weidman, with its 'book' by Weidman and both choreography and direction by Stroman. It consists of three separate one-act dance plays. The show was received with much critical acclaim and won the 2000 Tony Award for Best Musical. A West End production opened at the Queen's Theatre in October 2002, and closed on May 10, 2003.

The program also reprises audience favorites TAKE FIVE...More or Less, Broadway-darling Susan Stroman's sunny slice of jazz-infused Dave Brubeck fun; and Susan Marshall's distinctive aerial duet, Kiss. Rounding out the lineup is Molissa Fenley's State of Darkness, a tour-de-force solo performance set to Stravinsky's riot-inducing The Rite of Spring. Producers Letty Aronson and Julian Schlossberg today announced a General Rush policy for preview performances of BULLETS OVER BROADWAY. For each preview, a limited number of orchestra Rush tickets will be available each morning when the box office opens at 10 AM. Rush tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis for $37 each, with a limit of two tickets per person.

The upcoming season for the esteemed off-Broadway company begins in October with Rodgers & Hammerstein's ALLEGRO, directed by Tony Award-winner and CSC Associate Director John Doyle. ALLEGRO marks the second installment of CSC's Musical Theater Initiative, which launched last year with the company's hugely-successful production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Passion, directed by Doyle. Considered one of Richard Rodgers' and Oscar Hammerstein II's most personal and groundbreaking works, ALLEGRO was their third collaboration and first premiered on Broadway in 1947.
