Long-time San Diego actress, Sandy Campbell is taking on a new challenge with her directorial debut of Oceanside Theatre Company's Good People by David Lindsay-Abaire, an emotional, heartfelt drama broken up by poignant moments of laugh-aloud humor.

​​​​​​​Scripps Ranch Theatre, located on the campus of Alliant Int'l University in Scripps Ranch announced the reopening of their theatre. They will kick off with a Welcome Back Celebration! on December 4th at 7:30pm featuring musical and theatrical performances by some of their community's favorite performers - and have announced their 2022 Season which will start in January, 2022. 

Scripps Ranch Theatre (SRT), located on the campus of Alliant Int’l University and Oceanside Theatre Company (OTC) the resident professional theatre company at The Brooks celebrate the holidays with A CHRISTMAS CAROL: A RADIO PLAY. The reading will be live-streamed from the Brooks Theatre on Saturday, December 19th at 7pm.

Write Out Loud - an organization founded in 2007 with a commitment to inspire, challenge and entertain by reading literature aloud for a live audience  - has responded to the pandemic in the only way they know how - with love and stories. They have initiated a new online program, LISTEN TO THIS - Write Out Loud, where they record one of their favorite stories each day and share it with their community.

Write Out Loud - an organization founded in 2007 with a commitment to inspire, challenge and entertain by reading literature aloud for a live audience presents The American West, the final production in their American Season XI, a season that focuses on American stories by American authors. Write Out Loud Story Concerts bring literature to life - aloud - with rehearsed readings by professional actors. Each program explores specific themes by weaving a variety of stories and poems together into a literary tapestry. The American West features San Diego performers Fran Gercke, Jessica John Gercke, Susan Clausen, Veronica Murphy and Walter Ritter.  A complimentary pre-show reception starts at 6:15pm with a 7:00pm curtain.

Revel Spirits, the maker of artisanal, award-winning agave-based spirits, is launching both its flagship brand, REVEL, and a new category of distilled liquor, Avila, made from 100% blue weber agavethe same plant base as tequilabut grown in the Morelos region, a small state in the south central part of Mexico. Founded by three partners with connections to Minnesota, the Revel Spirits team created the new Avila category to differentiate its REVEL agave spirit from tequila, which can only bear that name if produced in the Tequila region of Mexico.

Trinity Rep's 2014 Pell Awards honored former Trinity Rep artistic director and Academy-award nominated film, stage and TV actor Richard Jenkins and his wife Director/Choreographer Sharon Jenkins with the 2014 Pell Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Arts, Jeffrey Osborne with the 2014 New England Pell Award and nationally known dance educator and choreographer Mary Paula Hunter with the 2014 Charles Sullivan Award for Distinguished Service in the Arts. The 18th annual Pell Awards event was held on Monday, June 9, 2014 at Trinity Rep followed by a reception at the Providence Public Library.

With the help of favorite local theatre artists, and community members, the San Diego nonprofit will present 100 consecutive hours of play and musical readings to break the Guinness World Record for Longest Marathon Theatrical Performance and celebrate Lamb's.
