'The Bourgeois Pig,' a new play by award-winning playwright Brighde Mullins, will be presented in its first full-scale production, tonight, Nov. 28 through Dec. 2 at Muhlenberg College. Beth Schachter directs the production.

HOBART BAROQUE is a brand new event celebrating the music of the 17th and 18th centuries. April 12 sees the inauguration of HOBART BAROQUE, nine days of exceptional performances by international and local musicians. To date, there has been no festival dedicated specifically to baroque music. That honour falls to Tasmania's capital, Hobart.

David Sedaris' snarky holiday comedy, The Santaland Diaries, is back for a fourth season at Florida Rep, playing Dec. 19 - 30 in the new ArtStage Studio Theatre. Starring Florida Rep regular, Jason Parrish, The Santaland Diaries follows the outrageous exploits of an unemployed writer who desperately takes a job as a Macy's Elf and exposes the underside of the Christmas season.

Olio Theatre Works welcomes award-winning director Gigi Fusco Meese as director when it brings back the timely drama INTIMATELY WILDE to the Long Beach Playhouse's Studio Theatre January 11th - 27, 2013 as a part of the 2nd Annual "People's Theatrical Collaborative".

Summoners Ensemble Theatre presents John Kevin Jones in his solo performance of A Christmas Carol directed by Dr. Rhonda Dodd. A Christmas Carol will play four performances only December 12-15 at The Studio Theatre in Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street).

Downtown audiences will be able to enjoy a quick theater break in the midst of the holiday bustle next month with A {15-min!} Christmas Carol, a rollicking, fast-paced version of Dickens's beloved classic performed by just two actors.

The FSU Student Theatre Association presents the world premier of Alexander Sage Oyen's haunting original musical A Night Like This directed by FSU senior and FSU STA artistic director Blayze Teicher. Page 73 Productions will present a reading of the new play PLAYGROUNDS by Sarah Sander directed by Josh Hecht. The reading will be Monday, November 26 at 7:30pm at 311 West 43rd Street, 6th floor (Dodger Atelier). Milwaukee Chamber Theatre (MCT) presents COLLECTED STORIES by Donald Margulies, now through December 16, 2012, in collaboration with Forward Theater Company of Madison. In COLLECTED STORIES two strong-willed writers from dramatically different backgrounds struggle with success. MCT has also produced Margulies' plays BROOKLYN BOY (2009) and his Pulitzer Prize-winner DINNER WITH FRIENDS (2003).
